Hyatt House Irvine/John Wayne Airport

Kerry arranged a quiet room with an open view on a high floor and ensured the things I needed were in the room before I checked in, so that I would not be exposed to others once I checked in. They also accepted packages for customers. I did not hear airplane sounds in the room during the days or nights. Unlike other Hyatt Houses or Hyatt hotels in general who gave me 2 bottles of water in advance or later, this hotel did not give me the water bottles for the days I did not receive them. They also charge $25 per night for parking. Other than those two, my stay was pleasant. Booking an unrefundable stay scared me, so I hope Hyatt House in general would not ask for it. Then Kerry made it a nice stay for my academic visit for days. I hope they continue to serve people with pain well, and their business will go well.

We stayed here for 5 nights to help our daughter move into her new place while attending UCI. It's a super convenient location with South Coast Plaza, IKEA, Costco, and Target stores nearby. There aren't too many places to eat close by though. The staff was super friendly. There are plenty of parking stalls in the structure. The only slight complaint I have is that the central air unit by the bed was kind of noisy when it would start up.

I stayed here for nearly a month while I looked for permanent housing in the Irvine area. The location, right off the 405 and next to SNA, is very convenient for commuting and travel. The gym was large and well maintained, laundry room had enough machines to handle the traffic, and daily room service left me thinking I may never want to find permanent housing after all. Lastly, the staff here is absolutely wonderful. I want to give an extra shoutout to Tatiana at the front desk -- she is simply phenomenal.

Close to airport and lots of dining options. Excellent dinner from the H bar. Love Hyatt House and this one did not disappoint. Rooms clean and spacious, free breakfast, good WiFi, parking garage.

I recently had a booking issue where my reservation through a third-party site didn’t show up in Hyatt’s system. Despite it being a third-party error, the Hyatt team—specifically Bruce and Titania—went above and beyond to resolve it. They were incredibly patient, eventually coordinating with the booking site to ensure I was refunded while honoring my original rate directly. To make up for the 45-minute wait, they provided a room upgrade and free parking. Most impressively, they were so thoughtful toward my 3-year-old daughter, letting her pick out toys to keep her happy during the process. It’s rare to find such high-level service when the hotel wasn't even at fault. Bruce and Titania turned a stressful situation into a fantastic stay!

This Hyatt is 20 min from Disney. The rooms are clean. Our only complain was that the ac was not cooling fast enough The fitness center has new equipment (or atleast it seems so). There is an outdoor pool. The breakfast was particularly good. Besides usual American breakfast the highlight was soup/rice and ample fruits. The water dispenser was nice to have. The parking is the adjoining garage. At $25 per night tit is expensive but still cheaper than other hyatts in the area.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. This will definitely be our go to place when visiting next time. The breakfast selection was great and I love that there was a purified water station. I also felt like all the staff genuinely liked working there, everyone had such a great attitude. One of the ladies working the breakfast area was so sweet to my daughter and a nice man who might have been maintenance was very kind to us in the elevator. Overall it was a pleasantly different experience than other hotels we stayed.

I've been to other Hyatt House locations. I really like this hotel for the breakfast selections, clean room, location, and quietness of the room. I was disappointed we were not able to obtain the same pricing for a night 5 days later. As a return guest, it would have been nice to be cut a break. Instead we stayed at another hotel in another area.
